LISTEN UP STUDENTS! This week it's all about the radio so if you didn't tune in, here's what happened....
It's Khush's turn to host Radio Avalon as part of her coursebut when she doesn't turn up for her studio slot, Analie goes on a girl hunt tofind our lady in question hiding out in the costume basket! Good to see she's up for talking to her audience then...
Meanwhile, just down the corridor, a slightly more confidentNatalie has been sent a load of fan mail...from HERSELF and explains to a ratherbemused Frankie that it's important so she can practise her replies for whenshe's famous! Whatever floats your boat Natalie!
Talking of boats, Felix (after being told he's not allowed to take Khush's place asDJ) decides if he can't speak to his fans from the studio, he'll do it from theschool lake....in a dinghy!
Before you can say ‘what's on the radio' Khush and Felix arein a land and sea battle of the crowd pullers.
At first it looks like Mr Motor Mouth has the ears of theschool, but when Khush finally relaxes, her show becomes original andinnovative and soon everyone is not only talking about it, but gettinginvolved!
Cue Ollie and Amy doing a Khush jingle, Stacey recording arather unrealistic weather report and Natalie talking about her (cough cough)championship tennis days!
Ah, so it seems everyone (for once) is happy at The Heights...well,everyone apart from Felix and Daisy.
After giving up the DJ, Felix is in a serious sulk becausehe has to admit that Khush's show was definitely a winner. Understandableindeed, but what on earth is wrong with Daisy?
With the absence of the school chef, Jay and Calvin havetaken it upon themselves to serve up a cuisine or two to the other students butDaisy seems to have a major allergic reaction to everything and keeps coming upin terrible blotches. Hercondition gets so bad that it appears the poor girl can't even drink a glass ofwater without burning up?
Luckily, local science expert Jay is on hand to advise thepatient and realises that Daisy only seems to come out in blotches when Frankie'saround. Result – she's allergic to her friend! Well, her friend's perfumeanyway and once the bottle's thrown away, Daisy enjoys a full lunch without ablotch in sight!
No more suffering for her then, but poor old Felix is stillnursing his knocked confidence after losing his listeners to Khush.
You can't have an arrogant student without the arrogance soToone take action and invites Felix to do the next studio slot for AvalonRadio. At first he's scared but he soon wins his fan base over witha much awaited song (from the heart) about his fears of defeat!
Ah, the crowd love him, he's got a soft side after all andwhilst he's on a winning streak he apologises to Khush for trying to steal herthunder and even dedicates his favourite tune to her too!
All's well that end's well....FOR NOW!
